Joey Voskamp has been designing board games as a hobby for 4 years. Married with 2 kids, Joey can be found playing disc golf, reading, or playing board games. He spends his spare time frequently lost in thought about his next game idea.

Joey is a lover of mid weight euro games, often reaching for the likes of Dune: Imperium, Obsession, Slay the Spire, and many more!

Isaac Stell is the developer and ‘lets do it’ guy. Married with 3 kids, Isaac can be found enjoying whatever catches his attention that evening. He spends his spare time thinking of new opportunities for Cornerstone Board Games.

On board game night, Isaac most often finds himself looking for more groups of people to learn new games from, desperately hoping they love his favourite game as much as he does. (It's Root, and it's because it's brilliant)

About Cornerstone

Cornerstone started as a conversation between two friends & coworkers having lunch and talking about what they wanted in life, over a game of “Fish Game” (later known as ‘The Big Haul’). What started as a conversation about what could be slowly rolled into the establishment of this company, and has led to the creation and launch of the very first (of hopefully many) games by Joey and Isaac.

Over the course of many months the two spent almost every possible lunch break together play testing and developing games, taking notes of what functioned and what needed to change. Occasionally a game would be brought to the table with some salvageable parts which would transform into another game, and some times games would come to the table to never return.
